Hey all, i got this bike from my friend, and broke the rear derailleur a while ago, couple days ago, i figured i should do a replacement and while im at it get soemthing better. Such a stupid idea, apparently its not really fitting. I cant return it anymore, and i was wondering if theres any way to fit it with some sort of adapter or something. Any help would be so good

That is a claw type and what you need is one that works with a hanger. Its a really inexpensive part.
That’s the wrong derailleur for this dropout / axle. You got one intended for a threaded axle and slotted dropouts.
You need one that’s meant to mount directly to the threaded derailleur hanger without that claw-like extension.
Hang onto that wrong one: maybe you’ll have a friend who needs it someday? Or, donate it at a local bike co-op if you have one in the area. Heck, if there is a co-op, they may have the one you need to swap with you.
