I’m not going to stop you but I don’t recommend it. If you do, bone conduction should be better than other forms.

  2. You do whatever you want.

BUT I only wear bone conduction headphones, they are simply awesome

  3. Nank focus on open ear headphone, I have usen their headphone, it looks nice for running and sports.

  4. Bose Ultra Open earbuds are my favourite. Really comfortable with an open design so you hear what’s around you.

Honestly I’ve found it doesn’t make much difference, 99% of the time I can’t hear cars over the sound of the wind anyway. I have a Garmin radar & really good situatuational awareness though, so I find it quite easy to ride with only visual cues.

I recommend Anker Soundcore sport X20’s, for me they’re the only earbuds which have a fully secure fit & don’t end up malfunctioning once constantly exposed to sweat.

  6. What helmet is that?

Headphones if you’re going to I’d go with bone conduction ones, I have some “Shokz” which are pretty good but I like to ride in silence primarily.

  7. I wear them all the time but that’s because I live in the Netherlands. There’s like proper asphalt/concrete cycleways everywhere.

However, when I’m abroad in let’s say Italy where they most likely don’t even know the word, I don’t wear headphones. When you’re cycling on the actual road with cars it’s just tricky from time to time.

If you want to use them on the road, atleast make sure you also have an ambient mode.

It’s illegal in some countries like France so check that first. I stop using earphones because I find it more important to be aware of what’s happening around me (cars, other cyclists, etc)
