This guy didn't yield on the right turn on red and I had to swerve to avoid hitting him. After I stopped off in a parking lot because I was having a panic attack from this near miss, the guy had the audacity to ask me if I was trying to kill him.
I commute daily on my bicycle to work so I know how shitty cars can be, but I'm very sure this wasn't a case of that. The dude just thought cars would watch out for him on a sharrow. There isn't a bike lane on this road, it's just a sharrow, and for what it's worth, this highway should not have a bike friendly sign on it, there's a side street that's much safer.

in LA, especially downtown, cyclists are absolutely atrocious about honoring any kind of traffic rules. say what you will about cars, they actually halt at a red light. it makes me so mad because of how bad it makes the rest of us look.
