[Music] Hitting the road again. Two wheels in a dream. Good morning, good evening, and good day. Well, today is Tuesday, and I have another 5 to 6 hours ahead of me, but it doesn’t appear to be as hot. It’s only mid30s. still hot, but I am heading sort of northeast. So, back over the up to mountains, so it won’t be as hot. Yesterday was brutal. Um, so where to today? I’m going to end up in a place called Oh, hang on. I’ll have to find that. Can’t think. But first, I’m going to gorge. Look. Well, we’re going to wing it again today. I haven’t booked a coms. Let’s see how far I get. Yesterday I was so um hot. I was slightly delusional. I I felt faint. I felt sick. I’ve been not very I had a bit of heat stroke. So today I want to get underway. It’s coming up to 7:00. So I want to get going and uh get out of this heat and just see some beautiful things. I want France to really deliver today. Come on France, you can do it. I’m just going to move her around and pack her. Okay. So, first up, I’ve got the directions. We’re going Napoleon’s way onto some villages onto Verden’s Gorge onto Sisteron and then up to Grenobyl. So, it’s going to be a full day by the with all the stops and everything to get to Verden’s Gorge. No. Yeah, I’m going to get to Grenobyl actually, just the center, and then I’ll look for accommodation there. I don’t know what I’m in for. I think I’ll just go for it. Let’s see. I’ll get my together eventually by the end of this trip with this microphone. Bye-bye. I think this is the old Napoleon way. It’s a bit like in France it’s sort of like someone said to me it’s a bit like considered a bit like the Route 66 of America. It’s very windy and twisty and a few hair pins. Great. Not sure if you can see that view behind me. Probably not. It’s too many shrubs. Okay, my first port call is to find fuel and check the back tires. Something feels a bit odd down there. Beautiful. Woohoo. Okay, I found a fuel station, but let’s hope my card works. Declined. It’s not taking my cards. Okay, there’s a there’s a town about 20 kilometers down the road, Castellin. Hopefully they’ll have a fuel station where I can at least maybe get cash out and pay cash knowing that my cards aren’t going to work in France. Well, they worked at buying food and stuff and they worked at the hotel, but just not for fuel. Here we go again. There’s ladies here. It’s declined. Close enough.

Card works everywhere else, but not at petrol stations. Bizar found a fuel station I’ve just filled up. It didn’t go on pay. Let’s hope to God it works. Well, that worked. So, it’s obvious it’s just the uh card readers at petrol station. Sorry. Uh, English from Australia. Yeah.
Long way. So, I’m seeing some lavender fields. So, I think we’re in the lavender fields. Bonus. Forgot about those. Have a look. I got my nose. [Music] Okay. Well, that was a beautiful ride. That was a real motorbike riders ride. It had everything from twisties to switchbacks to big beautiful curvy bends. Had all the views. Had plenty of stops if you wanted to. Had lovely little villages. So, we’ve been through the lavender fields. We’ve done Napoleon’s way. And we’ve seen Burden’s Gorge. Now we’re heading to Cesteron. But there’s another uh thing there for me to see. You’ll notice that um how brown these were these were all lavender. So it’s probably maybe out of season or um this extreme heat has burnt things off. You can see some bits of leftover lavender there. This car’s in a hurry. [Music] Little town’s called Nezle, I believe. [Music] [Music] I’m going to have a nice lunch here, I think, only because I’ve got a parking spot. I’ve had such a wonderful day so far, and it’s only lunchtime. I got a parking spot. There’s a restaurant there, which I’ll go to. I’m just going to have a quick look in the streets of this place. Then we’re going to make I’m going to look at the map. See how much further I can get. It’s um like heavy metal music being pumped through the streets. Very bizarre. Have a look up here. So, they’ve got these covers on these things. I just saw one lady put water over it. I don’t know what I’m going to try and find out what they’re for. Why? Okay. Well, there’s more shops up there. I don’t think we do need to do anymore. Let’s go and have something to eat.

[Music] That is beautiful. I feel like stripping off and just just sitting there. Just sitting there. We’re about an hour 15 away. cool me down no end. I’d say it’s getting close to 40 at the moment. Not as hot as yesterday, but it’s getting up there. This is a big place. So, I thought it was going to be just like a I don’t know, not a not a big city. Anyway, it’s um a ski resort here. 3 minutes away. And just like that, my camera goes I mean my go Incredible. Never seen this.
