I'm hoping to pass on my small frame souped-up Marlin 5 to my daughter and this looks like it will fit better. I'm hoping to do trails 10+ miles in national parks and at home in Louisiana and maybe a couple xc races. Will it be heavy? Is it worth if for $350? It's over an hour away.

You can do better than a 15 year old bike for $350. Especially a mtb.
