Took my cassette off this freehub and it has left mini grooves. Is this normal and am I OK to just put another cassette on as I want to use it on a different bike.

Yupp. Normal wear. You’ll be fine.
100% normal. This will happen with any cassette- worse if the freehub body is aluminum. No issues using this again whatsoever.
As others have said, this is very common and as long as you can get the cassette on easily you don’t have any risk running it.
Very normal on shimano/sram compatible hubs. Less of a problem on campagnolo cassettes (the spline has much larger contact area).
