Hi everyone!

I just wanted to ask you for some tips before buying endurance 6. This is huge step up for me from 10 years old MTB decathlon bicycle and I’ve got few questions.

  1. Most of my tracks are cycling asphalt and only a 15-20% light gravel, will it be fine if I will put gravel 32-35mm tires into it without any problems?
  2. Is noticeable difference between Shimano 105 and Tiagra?

Firstly I wanted to search after gravel bike to have possibility to ride everywhere but I always wanted more speed which was lacking on MTB bicycle.

Thank you in advance!

Canyon’s endurance bike is called the **Endurace**.

  2. 1. Yes but to be clear, there are road tires in that width range now too.

    2. I believe that it’s the weight, the 105 being lighter and shift performance but I don’t think you’ll notice it without a direct comparison. The Tiagra isn’t crap for sure.

I have the same bike. I have the stock tyres and there is plenty of space available for a wider tyre.
In terms of groupset it is great, it came out of the box shifting perfectly and the 34-34 is awesome to climb any thing

  4. Tiagra is great! Shifts basically instantly with a light press on the levers.

Biggest difference with 105 is that you get an extra gear (11 or 12 vs 10 speed) and that it’s slightly lighter, but I can’t imagine the shifting performance gets much better.
