As much of a 3x fan as I may be, riding this single speed, skid machine has really made appreciate simplicity. Nothing to think about but steady cadence, maintaining momentum and pedal placement on tight downhill corners.
edit because i saw the caption after. lol! the 2 bikes ive kept are a single speed & a 3×7. single speed cause i love it and a 3×7 by way of an old shimano recall. ive been having a lot of fun actually understanding how shifting feels. it gives you a lot of confidence. so i relate. love the 2.
