I recently got this Gazelle mondial AB frame, my first problem is it has a ground down flat for a french stronglight washer. I was trying to use though a dura ace hs 7400. It does indeed have iso threading but it might be a little bit more jiggly than french. The American dura Ace washer still looks like it fits pretty well. Albeit being a tiny bit smaller and can move side to side a tiny bit. I would really not like to buy another whole set just to take the washer so this should not be too much of a problem once I have the rest of the headset on right?
So recently I also (frustratedly) tried to install the bottom bracket but it won't really thread on in a correct way. I was trying to do it the left for the non drive side but it looks like the threads might go counterclockwise. Anyway it turns a few times and stops but i'm hesitant to push it any further than hand. They both are supposed to be iso, one being an 80s gazelle and the other being BSA Dura-Ace. Can you please explain like I'm 5 on how I would actually go about installing this? For somebody doing this their first tine any advice on getting this in without damaging any threads or ripping my hair out? Thanks for your help and time! 🙂

Oh, yeah, in the picture. The fork has been spun around though. The flat is on the back
Ok I think the frame might be Italian BB thread. You need to confirm this as BSA will not work.
If it isn’t Italian then get a reputable shop to tap and face it. It’s not bad practice to do this anyway with old equipment.
The fork is iffy, get a shop that still has the tools to run a tap over it. If they think it’s fine you should be right to go.
bb may have metric thread… all u can do is retread by forcing screw new bb but u have to ensure the cup is strong parallel…
