Thoughts on this size chart. Initially said XS due to inseam but added a half inch to account for shoes and moved me to an S. support said I should go for a Small but hearing horror stories about not sizing down

The small would have less saddle to bar drop but a tad longer reach. The xs would put you more in the middle of the seatpost range but would have lower bars by 20mm.
I think the general rule of thumb from Canyon is to upsize when in doubt. I personally like a little bit of drop and prefer a seat tube that has some adjustment in case something in the crank length changes or pedal stack so I would go xs but I’ve ridden a lot of different bikes and prefer a more aggressive setup.
