I got this quill stem adapter from ali express. I know I can‘t expect perfect quality but till now all the parts I got from aliexpress seems okay.
Today this quill stem adapter broke while riding my bike on the street, luckily I was really slow, otherwise i would have hurt me really bad I think.
Does someone experienced this kind of damage?
You think I had bad luck, or is it just really bad quality?

(Hat das selbe design obendrauf ) Zwar noch nicht verbaut, aber das überdenke ich jetzt auch noch einmal.

Yes, two years ago my handlebars broke in two while I was riding. I spent a week in the hospital and now have a titanium rod in my right femur. Aluminum snaps catastrophicly, it can go from a microscopic crack to total failure in a nano second. That is why an airliner that was just inspected can have a section of fuselage rip off in mid flight.
You get what you pay for.
Aliexpress does not have quality parts. I only get stuff from that site that can fail or break and not cause injury or harm.
Wow this is my greatest fear with quill stems and stem adapters. Did it happen to have any deep scratches around the point where it broke? Maybe a stress riser cracked the metal.
Get a nitto one! Costs a little more but at least you can trust it
