so in a few weeks we will be travelling with my friends to Netherlands. We plan on bikepacking. We are students so our finances are very limited, I have found this website https://natuurkampeerterreinen.nl/ . And i was wondering if anyone has any other tips for very cheap sleeping places. We are 4 people, and we have a very small tent so we dont need anything besides some ground.

Just eat pasta every evening and cook it yourself on the camping stove. The normal campsites should be like 10-15€ per night.
You can see the prices on most of the websites of the campsites on natuurkampeerterreinen.nl, but generally campsites aren’t particularly cheap here in my opinion.
Best bet is to ask for a place on “het trekkersveldje” on a campsite which is usually a field meant for hikers or cyclists travelling and only staying for one night. That’s at least cheaper than a regular spot on the campsite.

Google trekkersplek or trekkersveld + camping + town and you will find the cheapest spot for camping.
Welcome to my Garden is nice too. Camp in people’s garden, for free. Although you do need a membership for 3 euro/mo.
As per the other answers, there are quite a lot of no frills ”nature camping” sites for tents, rather than the bigger, serviced sites for vans and caravans.
I would also recommend Vrienden op de Fiets which is a network of people letting spare rooms, only available to cyclists and walkers. It’s 25 Euros for bed and breakfast, so more expensive than camping, but good value if you want a night under a roof. I found the hosts were pretty interesting and the breakfasts were always great.

Coming from camping in France, the Netherlands were a bit of a rude awakening just trying to find space for camping sauvage where I wasn’t in someone’s back yard (Belgium too).
