    Would help if you took a pic of the tyre bulging. My guess is you’ve done the valve up tight before fully seating the tyre and pumping up. Last thing should be the valve nut if you use it at all.

    Or you can do it up to a certain point so the pump has something to push against.

    At which pressure did it start to fail? Non-crochet rims can’t take the same pressure

    That looks like a hookless rim. It requires a tire specifically made for hookless rims which the one in the photo is not.

  4. Old ass hookless rims like that don’t hold much pressure. You’re probably overinflating.

    Pump it up to like 20 psi first and then sorta push it in all the way around to help center the tire over the rim. Then pump to full pressure.
