I’ve had this multitrack for a while but I started to neglect it after upgrading the drivetrain. It was my dream bike until I had it in my hands.
After some thoughts about why I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would, I decided to fully lean into the commuter/do-it-all spirit I wanted to capture.
I would appreciate any feedback on it, whether it’s new tires or a new groupset. Thanks!

I assume it fits you okay? You could put on some more relaxed handlebars potentially
Looks like a perfect commuter as it stands to me. Perhaps a chain guard and slightly fatter tires that would still fit under the fenders?
I love these lugged trek frames
Drop the basket struts down by one or two holes.
I like it
Looks like someone is a bit of a rebel
Of my 18 bikes my Trek Multi Track is my favorite. You have a slightly different setup than mine. I’m rural and have mine set for off road riding. Your’s looks very fine for where you ride, obviously not on gravel and dirt. You have a fine looking bike. Had to strip mine and get powder coating.
Love the seatpost sticker, utilitarian accessories, and the old investment cast trek seatpost cluster lugs are the best. Dope bike.
Only note is I would shorten the basket stays a notch or to two bring the basket closer to level, which will also move any weight carried in the basket lower and rearward for better loaded stability.
Also consider getting a front wheel stabilizer, it’s been a real game changer for my grocery-getter with a front basket.
So good
Sorry if it’s common knowledge around here, but what basket is that? Looks exactly like what I want.
