Any heavy loads in the basket frequently?
Weight would be high up and forces bend the seatstays sideways with quite a lever – typically the frame is not made to take those forces (at bottom bracket, yes, but top of frame would be able to follow, unless some heavy weight far up would keep the seat tube from following the loads applied through the bb).
Maybe. Maybe together with rust.
