Is there a clearer view of that path to the right at the stop sign? Is it a road? Because if it is, I would think you may be required to stop there.

  2. Maybe it’s just the GoPro perspective, but zipping between the car lane and parked cars at that speed looks risky as hell.

53 minutes to drive to work. Around 35 by ebike. The choice is clear for me.

Were all those cars in the bike lane or was it a turning lane? Turning lane/bike lane combo they like to do ha

  5. You posted a sped up video to make it look like you’re riding super fast? lol

Passing that Amazon Prime truck on the right could have gotten you killed. You don’t ever want to be to the right of a tractor trailer, as they can’t see you there, and by the time you realize they’re turning, you’re already trapped.

CyclingSavvy did a video on this which I highly recommend watching so that you understand just how dangerous this is and what the driver can and can’t see: [https://cyclingsavvy.org/2020/10/view-from-cab-of-turning-truck/](https://cyclingsavvy.org/2020/10/view-from-cab-of-turning-truck/)

Even when it looks like they’re turning left, or even when it looks like they’ve gone too far to possibly turn right, they might swing back without warning, The only way to avoid that is to not be there.

Treat the whole right side of tractor trailers as impending death at all times – don’t go there, and treat it as an emergency to get out if you find yourself there.
