I got a two piece rotor and the little disks that connects the outer rotor to the center is slightly rubbing the (carbon) frame. Should I allow the rotors to wear down the paint until it spins smooth?

that seems like a bad idea
I’d be tempted to take some sandpaper to those fasteners and take off just enough on the corner that’s touching so they clear.
Those look like cheap Amazon rotors. I had some just like them. Would not recommend them.
