Hey folks,
Looking for some second opinions. I'm coming from MTB (Orbea Alma) and thinking of switching to something that’s better suited for paved trails, some light gravel, and commuting. MTB is fun, but it’s definitely overkill for most of what I ride lately.
I stopped by my local Orbea dealer just to ask about gravel options. He didn’t have the base model Terra in stock, but offered me the Terra M30Team 1x he had on the floor, for 2000€ with my Alma H30 (Or whichever is on the lower spec of the Almas) as a trade-in.
Are gravel bikes more comfier than typical road bikes aswell? My past experience with road bikes, is that they are fine, but I just wish I'd have more comfort (Which to be honest I can just take the bike to him and he'd swap the stem(?) easily most likely)
Is this a decent deal for that bike at this price point, considering the trade-in?
Would appreciate any thoughts or advice!

It depends on where you live – maybe try to rent at least similar bike to check out if position is right. I have 3 gravels but when I sat on some old fuji full suspension bike from 2015 I have realised that there is no comparison in comfort. But there is also no comparison in speed.
I love gravel bikes because they are faster than mtb on tarmac and faster than road bikes on gravel or Forrest trails.
So… For 999€ you can buy canyon endurance allroad and have two bikes 🙂
