I have a cyclocross Trek Crockett from 2016 that I’ve been writing for years and I think it’s time to switch to a traditional gravel bike. My ability to actually train and race for cross events is pretty minimal right now. It’s much easier to go out and have an enjoyable gravel ride. My LBS is a Cervelo dealer and he’s a good buddy of mine so he is giving me a decent deal on this.Wondering if you guys have any experience with this bike and what your thoughts are about it?

I got the grx 820 earlier this summer. I’ve been super happy with it. Very smooth, nimble bike
Do it.
I just got cervelo aspero, and absolutely love it. I tested so many gravel bikes; but Aspero was the most snappy, reactive and fast on ascends.
Love my Áspero. Can fit 45mm tires. I do gravel and road just swapping the wheels.
I didn’t end up getting one but it is a gorgeous bike.
How many root canals will it take?
Love my Aspero. You’re probably not gonna do multi-day tours with it, but it is a rocket ship!
Not a lot people seem to dislike the bike. I say go for it!
Love my áspero, great on all road rides and dirt/champagne gravel, tho struggles on chunky socal “gravel” due to limited tire clearance.
Very happy with my Aspero too. 2022 model and now about 6000KM done. Use it mainly in spring and autumn. Summer is roadbike (a dentist model too 🤣)
Upgrade with the flared Cervelo carbon bar and carbon wheels (Reserve 32).
I just got myself one also the GRX820 it’s awesome. Such a great ride
I love my Aspero. Good bike, fast, light and comfortable.
It’s currently on sale if I remember correctly
I just purchased a 2021 Aspero A series frame to replace an Allez since I wanted to do both gravel and road.
I bought the 3500 dollar Apex build last year and I love the bike so much! I’ve spent another 4 grand on it to make it as awesome as possible.
