  1. Oscar Riesebeek – 32-year-old Dutch cyclist has been disqualified for 7 days after receiving two yellow cards at the Baloise Belgium Tour 2025.
He became the first rider to be suspended under the new UCI rules about yellow cards.

Oscar Riesebeek got yellow cards on Stage 2 & 5 of the race.
Both times, he broke the same rule:
β€œUsing sidewalks, pedestrian paths or cycle paths not included in the race route.”

Because of this suspension, Riesebeek will miss the Dutch National Championship this week in Ede.
But it will not affect his place at the Tour de France, where he will help Jasper Philipsen in the sprint stages.

After the second yellow card, Riesebeek crashed and DNF the stage.
Thankfully Alpecin Deceuninck said he did not get any serious injuries or broken bones.
