Hey all! I’ve been riding this Kona for about 6 years, and everything but the wheels and handlebars (idk what they are, got them gifted like 10 years ago and been riding them ever since).
I want to make it more aesthetic, and cool to look at. Would like to add a chrome colored crankset, a nice saddle and maybe a chrome saddle post, but I don’t know where to look or start!
Are there things that you guys like? How would you customize this bike?

Silver components would look great on that Paddy wagon. For yours I’d replace as much as possible with silver to compliment that tone of blue. Headset, seatpost, seatpost clamp, cranks, stem and bars, depending on your budget of course. Andel makes some great affordable silver track cranks – Retrogression has a good selection. Also if you have a Coop nearby, that’s where I’d start. I’ve upgraded everything on my Paddywagon except the front brake – I prefer mine with a combo of black and silver parts because of the forks. this photo is from 2022 and I’ve since replaced the cranks with Dura Ace’s and switched to a silver nitto stem, black stridsland anchor bars, silver nitto seatpost, and matchy silver rims. It’s hard to tell, but the chain is a black Izumi with gold pins to match the yellow around the kona logo. I’ve had a lot of fun tinkering with my Paddy wagon.
