First day of a bike tour along EuroVelo 15 route, on the border between Germany and Switzerland.

welcome to Middle Age Miles on our Eurovvel 15 journey we started early in Frankfurt taking the train south to concerts with two changeovers the first train was empty but new car trains got crowded due to the long week quick tip in Hen no bike tickets is needed on regional trains but it’s not a rule in Germany so please check once we arrived it was time to get on our bikes and start riding eurovella 15 or Ryan cycle route is a popular cycling path in Europe it runs from the Swiss Alps to the North Sea but we’re starting our journey from Constance following the Swiss German border and heading west to Balo if you haven’t cycled here before quickly leave the busy area behind and enjoying the calm nature along the river heat up There was a bit of a traffic on the border but luckily only for the cars heat up here heat heat heat up here the path until Rine was mostly paved afterwards it started to be a little bit of a dirt gravel and foresty roads heat up here heat up here heat up here heat heat heat up here originally we planned for a shorter first day but with the long weekend every Riverside campsite was booked out so we pushed on further than expected the extra kilometers led us to Yashton a small friendly campsite that was a real find quiet welcoming and complete with a pool for a short swim to relax at the end of the day but here we’re still riding through shopous so just a quick little to see the rainfalls and we arrive at our today’s destination so that’s day one in the books total 59 km ride we’ve got our tent up something to eat cold beer and tomorrow promises even more stunning views thanks for watching
