Having come off a few times recently I have thought about some better protection against that random rock that wants to sneak under my helmet.
I ride a Met Rivale, which has saved my head on the road but I was thinking about something with a bit more protection, in the direction of
MTB without the air anchor at the front:)

100 percent Altis Gravel. MTB protection without the visor. Smartshock and extended rear coverage for gnarly singletrack. Youll be sorted.
There are helmets like the POC Octal X that have an extended coverage area.
With that said, helmets are generally built to protect against a fall at 20km/h , and even XC pros can be seen riding road helmets, so maybe you’re overthinking the helmet selection when you should be thinking about why it is that you’re crashing so much and what you can do to lessen the likelihood of crashing in the first place, because a helmet won’t always protect you.
