We leave Rocamadour and head to the Ardeche! 2024 Moto Tour Ep 6

We leave a damp Rocamadour and head to the Ardeche stopping off at our friends on the way. The weather improves as we head south and the roads were great making it an enjoyable journey.

I don’t even know what day we’re on what day are we on I know it’s Saturday Saturday yeah so that’s day seven one week in eight straight into a nice little bit of road as [Music] well I look at that for a sepet Tre all like little green houses they look like an alotment CET okay oh snce is it snash [Music] I don’t even know what day we’re on what day are we on I know it’s Saturday today Saturday yeah so that’s day 7 one week in eight I think isn’t it what all right yeah we left on the Saturday we so uh we’re just off now we’ve got 123 miles to do so not very far weather’s a bit if although it’s not raining so let’s not the moment um it chapped it down overnight it did there was Thunder and everything um so yes we’ve just leaving here we’re going to see my friends now for 2 days uh it’s a bit of a twist route today I think uh also don’t format memory cards after you’ve had a couple of bottles of wine cuz [Laughter] then I formatted the wrong one and I hadn’t uploaded it to the uh hard drive and as I pressed yes it I went no this is the wrong camera so uh I’ve taken that card out cuz you can recover it but I have to do that when I get if I can so there may not be any footage from the day before I’ll ride in I’ve only got this camera here and the one that was down there so no sound it’ll just be engine noise right we getting on on either so I recommend come in here I’ll put the name in I’ll put the names everywhere we stayed and as we do it it’s not cheap but if you want access to turn right then turn [Music] right you got access to the chatow and the medieval little city it’s just up [Music] there in 03 mil turn left onto plast Euro that’s where we ate night yeah we had pizza there Rock so I reckon that was cheap as well cheap place to eat there which is good very very nice yeah and that’s also hotel if you want to stay there it’s it so depends what you’re after turn left to to France 11th of July it’s coming through here we can watch that say yeah so how did you enjoy wadora it was really nice really nice um nice hotels nice meals and a good fun day out exploring um it’s certainly well worth a visit and it’s it’s quite amazing really that all of that was free apart from the two EUR to try and get around the sort of battlements of the castle Yeah which obviously we didn’t achieve because it wouldn’t take our tickets or anyone else’s tickets but yeah the rest of it there’s loads to look at and it’s quite special and it’s all free yeah and it’s also good for keeping fit yeah especially if you go up yes it was was hard work if you come back up the steps I should think that would be hard work I think the route that we came back up the slightly longer oh it’s dead easy that yeah but steep CL wasn’t too bad or if you can’t manage either of that there are actually lifts there are lifts yes you need to if you’re coming up on the lift one lift goes about halfway and then you have to walk to the other lift which then takes you out to the top [Music] or you can actually ride down and park in a car park at the bottom and then there’s a little land train that will pick you up and brings you up into the that’s true City wouldn’t take the top there with it yeah you’re well cated for lifs of for losers though so exactly which is why we didn’t use them thanksful straight into a nice little bit of road as well I was trapped and CRA it’s a big mistake for a good damn boy like me you know hey I’m out out of this it took my loneliness I’m not a g you [Music] know you took my this way I’m not again you’re way you’re way [Music] way way I was trapping and we’re losing gravity it’s a big mistake for a good d boy like me you RI my cars and you found all my history [Music] I’m afraid you’ve got control and you cut my wings you know hey I’m out of this it took me long in this way I’m not again and you’re way in you’re way [Music] I’m not [Music] there I’m not [Music] again [Music] way in your way in your way [Music] so we got 82 miles it’s just a bit in of rain [Music] life is just great but already it’s a better Road nicely surfaced here comes some rain yes [Music] I look at that for a cemetery all L little green houses look like an alotment cemeter so sit weather turned a bit [ __ ] and we’ve had to put the waterproof on Joe’s got her little Hood up under her helmet she loves and they gone for the warmer gloves but uh it looks like it’s well it’s still not great but it’s not raining anymore and the roads are dry so we’ve got 35 miles [Music] left so we found a supermarket so I with in and got two bottles of champagne for a massive 46 so you better like it Joe hang on what did you say I saying we found a found a super my book playing I had to turn it off found a supermarket yes I went in and I got two bottles of champagne for 46 47 oh were they champag wow yeah surpris me for a little shot but I had quite a choice maybe suggest that everybody locally is piss head maybe maybe so there’s 1.7 miles left to their house which as you can work out is in the absolute middle of nowhere that looks like Rob’s Barn over there it does doesn’t it yeah that’s his barn and then his house is just behind it the little bo umbrella a little blue blue blue blue umbrella turn left then turn left and I seen to remember he has a very Steep and gry entrance he should get that looked at there it is is 10 day 10 is it I think I think so we are in a food coma so we just left our friends had two nights two nights there they have fed us well the week’s food yes a week’s worth of food in that two nights the best hosts they are awesome highly recommend them yes five star review uh so thanks Robin Gale for looking after us and making sure we didn’t go hungry and giving me an early birthday celebration oh yes so they had the decorations they had the banners games cakes everything it was amazing oh he’s a Carri there should have invited him they probably know him they probably do thaty gridlocks morning is [Music] that turn right so they uh they took us out yesterday today just at the road I can’t remember what it’s called now sent something something George for seven miles yeah St George to n or something I can’t remember it was something St George yeah so it’s like a church on top of a hill you get fantastic views across all of this yeah uh so that’s good so I put some pictures in uh so we’re off today in not great weather it has stopped raining I think it’s going to get better uh but we got waterproofs on So today we’re heading off everything to the valon pum parkesh so we got two nights down there uh so hopefully tomorrow if the weather’s okay we’ve got bit of kaying on the agenda if it’s [Music] on it’s been some nice roads isn’t it it is all like really flowing and hardly any traffic as well almost a hint of sunshine coming through the cloud there is only almost so I don’t know if the GoPro or pick it up but just where those clouds are there’s a I don’t know what you call it a mountain range yeah it’s uh cuz we’re near Claremont FR which is a volcanic region so there’s lots of that where they’re all extinct volcanoes I can get it oh now there’s trees in the way H know I’ll try and photograph it then I can zoom in you know how it goes if you turn the cameras on or say you’re going to do [Music] something so cuz I said it’s nice swoopy roads flowing we’re now on a big long straight [Music] w [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] think the boobies you’ve been on the road for over 5 hours okay oh nice is itce I can take some pictures with your phone if you want just can’t do it with mine now mine’s inside [Music] my near there now it’s only 1 and 1/ half miles okay there’s the arch look ah yeah see the plane yeah I was looking me at the arch oh look to get pictures of all this it’s all right [Music] tomorrow are we coming back this way then you’ve reached your destination don’t know yet oh we here yeah cool wow uhoh which where are we going no that’s doing [Applause] the oh look there’s a big rock which side of it are we going uhoh uhoh you’re having a nice time oh it’s great this is great way to spend a day especially when it’s sunny big birds up there W yeah
