welcome back to day 99 of biking from Norway to South Africa we have 55 miles to ride to Belfast today and we are meeting up with a friend this weekend so we have to make sure we get there we decided to wait one more day before making this ride because yesterday was raining with a headwind and today was much nicer weather and hopefully was going to give us a little bit of a tailwind where we are in Northern Ireland was used for a few different filming locations for Game of Thrones so we rode through the King’s Road filming locations that was really fun and it was one of the few things that like I could actually recognize from the show so yeah that was super cool and we were just crushing the ride today we were going so fast um the rain came out a little bit but for the most part the weather was really good and we did get some of that tailwind so we were just cruising we had two big climbs today and after the first one we had some Nutella and then got ready to do the second one soon after that and once we finished the second climb it was pretty much smooth sailing for the rest of the day we just had like 25 more miles to go but no big elevation to cover so that’s always a really nice relief we didn’t pack much food with us today though so we rode most of the day without like many snack breaks which is atypical for us um so by the time we were getting close to Belfast we were starving and so we made sure to stop and like have a really big lunch and after that we only had like 7 miles to go most of them were on this really lovely path right next to the water and so that’s always a really lovely way to end the day and then we were in Belfast and we just had to hang out and wait for our friend to arrive and so yeah that’s the end of the day i will see you guys soon for more writing
