Had a gentleman bring this into the shop today and none of us could decide if this tire/tannus liner had been cut or torn. I personally believe it was cut but the two other mechanics working with me think it blew from a heavy impact while over pressured. Mainly doing this for fun but was wondering what yall thought

Other things I forgot to add. No slime on the exterior but all over the inside of the tannus.
Weird black impact spot near where the hole was but not on it. You can see it in the tannus photos
Blew on impact. Far to jagged to be cut.
If it was cut, the cords/strings would also be cut. They all all frayed. Leaning to blow out as well.
It’s the multiple directions that tell me it’s blown. If this dude ran over a perfectly positioned chefs knife, or some POS slashed the tire, it would be one cut not several
I’m with the mechanics on this. Edges far too ragged. Heavy impact starts a tear in the casing, pressure inside the tire ruptures it.
Blown for sure.
