i think with the roll speed, you'd feel quite fast off the lips. but then come up short and case. i rarely ride the hardtail so… ya i needed to adjust. hoping to make some progress on project hardtail this summer. probly brakes next lol
took the hardtail up as well just in case. made the 'tech' more fun, but it seems i appreciate mistake erasers on jumps…

You really don’t need FS there. I hit every jump on Neverland on my XC hard tail, without a dropper post, many years ago. Same day they had their first XC race up there. I’d argue that a trail HT with a dropper is PLENTY of bike, and probably most appropriate.
