Rode for years from around 14 till 23 and let it go due to moving away from friends, job etc.
Now 33. Moved to the States a few months ago from the UK and after meeting some people have decided to get back into it and it's making me feel like a kid.
Did a bit of research and just bought a Sunday Forecaster with a cassette, and worried I might have gone a bit too hard.
Seeking validation 😂

Nah, this is a good buy and you could have potentially spent a lot more $$$
Awesome bike. I’m 43 and just getting back into it after a few decades off. I got a Mongoose Legion L100 and took it to the skatepark last night for the first time.
How…how is it standing up without a kickstand?
Tis better to have a bike that inspires riding. I’ve never heard someone regret buying a better bike than they needed, unless they’re talking about the price.
Sweet bike.. if I was getting a modern bmx it would be a Sunday.. I am 56 (now) and built a trick star when the 2017 re-issues happened, to match my old trick star from the 80s as much as I could… has modern geom with 9/25 gears and tuff’s .. been riding it daily lately, not always for along but at least one lap around the hood when I don’t have much time… keep on bmx’ing!!
I’m 39 didn’t start riding till 33. You did the right thing.
Hell yes this thing is sick dude! GLHF
Fuckers mint
Got this same one just in green with a tan seat and I love it. Especially after riding ‘11 Hoffman ontic for years
Not too far ive literally just done the same thing had a bad injury 10 years ago. This month bought a second hand custom bike off .marketplace and proceeded to buy down hill bike jump bike and a new bmx🤣🤣 bikes with adult money is fun enjoy man
15 years off and 3 months in. Got 3 bikes. 3rd being a soundwave today.
As far as I know Sunday is a great brand and it’s not like you got a battleship or some pro signature frame and 3 grand worth of parts in hindsight I bought a dk Cygnus 24 and then another one of a different color a fit blunt crank eclat abyss sprocket pivotal post seat half link and I just put around on it for me it’s not so much about the the trill ride it’s the thrill of riding and the build
No I don’t think you did. This a good bike all around especially for people getting back into bmx or are brand new to the sport. I have the exact same bike actually and I can confidently say it’s pretty sick.
Nope.
