I thought to share my gear list with you. I'm now on the road for over 60 days. I startet on the 25. of April in Switzerland and cycled through France, Germany, Netherlands, England and spent 6 weeks in Ireland.
So far, I'm very happy with the setup.
Bike
- Price Gravel with Shimano 105 cassette at the rear and GRX crankset at the front. Wouldn't recommend, especially with a lot of weight and elevation. Had a 105 before the tour and decided to replace only the front crankset, which was a mistake.

I’d say that’s a lot of weight on the rear, do you really need a 24L bag on top of all the things you already have?
You should look at your clothing options and see what can be used as both on and off the bike to save space and weight.
Whenever I pack, I try to see how many different uses each item has, like a buff, can also be your glasses holder, or wrap your inflatable pillow when you sleep. You can cut down on a lot of items and weight this way. I would cut down on the underwear to 2, rain jackets to one, increase cycling shorts to 2, cut the trousers to 1, socks to 2 just to start.
If you can find any water source you can easily wash your clothing and have it dry over night.
I have found it better to take a little less and buy if you need it, than to have to ditch things along the way. Especially if you’re going through a town at least once a day, or even every other day.
