Found this bike on Facebook for $50! All ultegra, groupset, mavic open pro wheels, everything works. Was an older couple that wouldent use it anymore, it was dirty and wouldent shift, some cleaner and lube loosened it up enough to shift.
I did however change the bar tape, swap the seat from another bike, new chain, and took apart the cranks and cassette to clean, and new front tire. Threw some ceramic coating on the frame and looks good as new.

Next time you should wrap the bar tape the opposite direction, from inside to outside – it will keep it tight with wear. But keep it up, practice makes perfect!
What a beauty, the initial generations of carbon frames just look so slick.
Having experience with multiple early Kestrel frames, even though it looks solid and in good condition still do some penny taps in more sensitive areas. 2/3 old frames I’ve bought have had micro cracks around the water bottle mounts.
