Hey guys,
I’m torn between the Polygon Colossus N9 and the Canyon Mullet AL 5. Both bikes are on special and have similar specs.
Only big difference I can see is the Polygon has a more complicated rear end.
The Canyon also has a mullet setup.

Can’t really comment on the polygon but I got a torque al6 mullet not long ago and love it. Felt a bit sluggish to start with (I was coming from a hard tail) and it is definitely not light but after a few rides I was stoked with it.
All I know about that Polygon is that it weights almost 40 lbs
I’d go with the canyon personally
Canyon. That Polygon is a very hammer/mallet approach to a bicycle. Not sure what the kinematics of the rear are, but there’s just no way you’re going to find someone saying they can’t FATHOM riding any other linkage. The weight alone seems like it would fuck up any benefits you get from the kinematics.
Polygon is basically a budget DH bike/park bike. For actual enduro, aka climbing and al day epics, it’s the Canyon. Maybe a Vitus if you’re interested. Or whatever else is on sale. But not that Polygon. The T8 is great for budget trail riders if nothing else is on sale/available. Otherwise… Meh.
I’ ve ridden this exact model polygon a few months back and was quite impressed especially considering its price but its a tank.
If you ride a lot of park i would 100% go for it.
Also the paintjob really pops in direct sunlight
The Colossus is what the name says, a colossus. It is a hefty bike but once you point it down the hill and aren’t afraid to go mach jesus it is comparable to a dh bike. So I’d suggest it for really fast people who ride hard fast and steep tracks most of the time. The canyon fits a broader range of riders and uses and it’s more playful than the plow machine that is the colossus
