Inspired by the conversation at the end of the video below. What’s a wall-ride 360?

I think of a wallride 180 as doing a wallride, pulling off, spinning 180 and landing fakie.

But if you do a wallride, spin 360 out and land going forward. Then you’ve basically done a 540 with a wallride in the middle. So I’d call it a wallride 5. And then a wallride to 360…doesn’t exist?

Wallride 180 if you’re doing a normal wallride like in the street or something and land fakie. 360 wallride if it’s out of a bank or quarter and land fakie like if you’re doing a normal 360 on the bank or quarter. Then 540 wallride like Ruben did in roadfools.

  2. From a YT comment….I agree with this take.

The wallride is part of the rotation…so a wallride to 180 is technically a 360 degree rotation…wallride to 360 is technically a 540 degree rotation. Proper term is 360 wallride (landing fakie after 180 degree rotation off the wall) and 540 wallride (landing straght after 360 degree rotation off the wall) – not up for debate. I’ll die on this hill 😜 Think about it like this, if you rode up the bank, spun 360 and landed fakie, thats a 360. If you rode up the bank spun 540 and landed straight, thats a 540. The wallride part just happens in the middle of the rotation.

I’ve never heard about this debate before. Hilarious!

I wouldnt say the wallride is part of the rotation.
Its just like riding a bank to bank hip, where a 360 becomes a 270. (On a bank to wall)

If you would do a wallride and ride parallel to the wall it would be a true 180, 360 and 450. (- some degrees tolarance for under/over rotation)

So on this bank to wall setup, in my opinion, you cant do a 180,360,450 but a 90,270 and 450.
