  1. I would suggest investing in some more modern drop bars and brake levers with rubber hoods, especially if you are touring.

    Your bars are probably 25.4 or 26.0mm clamp. Measure them.

    Check out Nitto or Crust if you have the $$. Others should throw out suggestions.

    You want something with a flat top of drop to hood profile.

    Vintage drops like these are an ergonomical nightmare. Modern drops (pared with some more modern levers) are so much nicer.

    Or you could go flat/ alt bar.

  2. If the bike is indeed already sorted then I’d say if it’s your size and you figure out how to mount the stuff you’ll need you’ve gotten yourself a touring bike

  3. Has tripple cranks good touring geometry, canti brakes, dual water bottle mounts, a rack , and you can mount fenders. It has a lot of potential. First thing I would do is swap out those drop bars. Cool bike!!
