Anyone done this route recently. Thinking of doing it this fall. Options are this or the northern part of Lake Michigan. I like the idea of gravel and low traffic roads better.

Honestly think I should have ridden the Trans-Wisconsin instead of Michigan Iron-Belle. Looks very nice.
