Is this bike okay for $900? The seller said that shocks have been recently services and tires newish. This appears to be a Carbon-C model from Google search (second pic is from Google.
What should I look for in a carbon frame?
I have bought many used bikes in the last few years but never a carbon MTB.
Thanks

Are these two pics even of the same bike? I’m seeing different tires, wheels, cassette, handlebars, stem, saddle, pedals, fender….
$900 might be fair but make sure this ain’t a scam
Edit: just saw your caption. lol. Nvm.
Seems scammy
$900 seems like a decent price for this Nomad if it’s clean and well maintained.
What to look for in a used carbon frame? Look for any serious chips that expose the carbon fibers beneath. Also look for cracks, mainly at the stress points, like around the headtube and cranks. Flip the bike over to inspect underneath, as that is where most of the damage can occur due to strikes or hitting flying objects.
Also inspect the carbon wheels.
$900 is fair for this bike. The parts are getting harder to come by as this is a couple generations old
That spring looks pretty beat up if i were you i would look into the bike more when seeing in person you never now what could be broken because that damage to the spring is not normal as far as ive seen in my life
That’s a 2018 instagram build
