How much clearance are you dealing with? I had 700c x 48mm knobbly René herse in my CXC and with heavy mud it rubbed pretty bad through the (very thin) paint

i love the Double Fighter as a tire, but its not very well protected, you need to pay attention for stuff.

Imo it’s gravel if you ride it in gravel.
