I had a wonderful carrying handle for my 2015 superlight 2-speed. But that carrier's velcro wrapper doesn't fit the wider-diameter frame of my new T-line 12-speed.
The new bike is much lighter than the old steel frame. But it's still a nuisance climbing stairs when I use the train.
Suggestions are appreciated.

Is a strap not going to be similar to the undr saddle lift?
Or are you using a wrist loop with the strap to offload fingers? In the latter case a short circle of climbing rope might do – maybe a free offcut
Restrap one comes with a shoulder strap to carry it without needing to hold it with your hands. Sort of works.
