I would probably pay for it if its in great condition. Just because i am looking for something similarly specd.

If it’s the right size. Maybe a little pricey for an aluminium frame with rim brakes but it’s fairly modern and tidy.

Imo a bit high for rim brakes. £500 is about $677 US, and at that point you could spend a couple hundred more for brand new rim (or maybe even disc). Maybe try to talk them down closer to £300-£350.
