  1. I absolutely would not ride them. Aluminium components can easily crack from deep scratches, and this is a safety critical spot with heavy loads.

These scratches are highly dangerous ! Such kind of damages are very often the starting point for hairline cracks ! At more massive metal parts drawfiling the scratch is possible with a round file – but for such a lightweight bicycle bar would this also mean a significant weakening …so before risking anything you should rather throw them to the scrap !

No – do not ride. These are not cosmetic scratches and the bar will eventually fail at one of those cracks. Maybe in a week, maybe in a few years but when it fails it will be catastrophic. I’ve seen a friend seriously injured by a bar failure and it wasn’t pretty.

  4. Get some brackets for attaching conduit to the wall, and mount those bars to a board and put it up on the wall to display your bike with.

Bars are cheap. Failed bars will result in a nasty crash. Risk/reward isn’t there. Buy new bars.

Looks like you made yourself a nice wall hanger for bike gear, those are toast.

I mean if a trip to the ER is your thing then sure go for it! Honestly if you are asking you already know the answer.
