    Road bikes are very sensitive to correct sizing and setup, so make sure you follow some guides to get an idea of what size you need. Ideally ones that take account of inseam and reach rather than just your height.

    If that is the right size then it’s a decent entry level bike, but probably overpriced. It’s over a decade old, not exactly high spec, depends on your local market but you do see much more modern bikes for that sort of money.

    This sort of bike is good for paved surfaces and longer distance stuff, but it can take a bit of getting used to if you haven’t ridden a bike with drop bars before.
