Put this piece on the non drive side bottom bracket first when installing. A simple google search could’ve saved me $40 and 5 days of waiting for a new one. Pissed me right off, but I hope I’ve learned my lesson. Cheers!

You actually don’t need the plastic middle part on most outward bottom bracket.
It’s supposed to better seal the bearings from water, but that’s bs since water will always make it’s way inside the bearings either way…
