[Music] the mission today which we have accepted is to get the train into Liverpool then ride along the river’s edge to RunOne and then come back along the Liverpool loop line and this is where Evertonians come to cry after the game we’re going to ride along Otispool and then we’re going to drop into one of the most beautiful private estates in Liverpool things are getting serious we’ve got the wave ruler out she must rule the waves you know what no too much trouble [Music] it’s a Victorian protected private park anyone know the name of it the difference in the crowds on a sunny day still a long way to go chinese casino better than you know yourself this was made for the original garden festival and it’s based on the bull that the Indian god Shiva rode crescent Park private estate was built in 1851 and is still protected by a covenant it is quite simply a magical place i don’t know maybe it’s just the trees but if you come down here yourself it’s just gorgeous to ride around absolutely beautiful place was Millionaire’s Row in its day wasn’t it you know what it probably still is the residents have to follow the strict rules of the deed of covenant ensuring its continued preservation and peaceful atmosphere easy for the love of you it won’t be a sish i can’t afford [Music] majestic trees stone pillars iron railings and the original gas lamps station and around the corner the absolutely sublime Crescent Park Railway Station back in time Cresington Railway Station okay back to the real world we’re looking for a shortcut down to the river’s edge and we’ve found it but it’s a little bit overgrown yeah yeah well we’re giving it a go aren’t we i think we’re good i think we’ve made it oh wow where the hell are we jesus Christ there’s the planes taking off right this is back to where I ended the last video at the sailing club so I won’t film much more until I get to a new bit this is the old runway speak airport we’re calling it a speak hall to get a buddy and a drink just when we enter the actual grounds now it’s a few miles of very slightly technical path ah the wrong gear shimmy i should know better shouldn’t I i wasn’t ready myself then oh no hang on further along you’d have to be here in person to feel the cool breeze off the river on a warm day beautiful yeah only cuz we’re having a look oh there’s lots of currents there i’m going to have a go climbing up that climb there hey that climb up there i’m going to have a go at oh oh my god i can’t believe I made that hello there much harder and steeper than it looks the fat tires did me solid there this was something never mind right I’m past the lighthouse now heading on up towards RunOn you can actually see the bridge there in the distance ha that path just brings you straight back into hail oh well at least we had a look okay the trans cycle path goes right past the water treatment and this is the famous Pickering Pasture don’t get too excited now should take us back to the coast pickering Pasture lot of old posh people around here thank you i have a pen also at this point I started feeling really unwell everything started whiting out i looked at my friend and his face was completely white and it turns out that’s a thing if you get dehydration in the heat it’s called a heat sync cope or heat fainting going to have a look on the map yeah but it was pretty scary it was like someone had turned the brightness up to full on my eyesight i stopped to cool down and had an isotonic lucasade it’s very nice bit of a jump course there i recovered pretty quickly feel okay now this reused railway line goes all the way from Hailwood right past H3 Racecourse which is where we’re getting off it my legs are getting slightly better still killing me though yeah I’ve suddenly developed the most unbelievably painful cramps in my thighs looks like I’m ripping them apart as I pedal i’m pretty sure we’re going on the M62 here oh it’s dark in here hey I’ll have to say even though the idea is quite romantic riding along these converted railway lanes can actually be pretty boring am I the only one that thinks this there’s a very picturesque part coming up here pretty snazzy he’s got a bell [Music] oh sorry i saw you going jesus [Music] i will admit I was a little bit concerned about the safety of riding along here but it’s really busy and very safe where are we now uh oh yeah that’s Don’t know we ended up doing 45 miles of riding today and I know it’s an electric bike but it’s still a bit of an effort in this heat [Music] i nearly passed out pushing the bike up the walkway i developed the most unbelievable cramps my legs are still hurting 2 days later i’m off to Scotland doing some mountain biking for a week so thanks for watching so far i’ll see you soon the queens of entry yeah there’s the entry racecourse over there give me your answer to

Thanks for another video , this one reminded me of a ride I did last year near your neck of the woods , parked at seacombe then cycle around the coast via new Brighton , the kings gap onto the Wirral way all the way to past neston to a lovely bike cafe called nets cafe near the Welsh border then back the same way that was 44 miles but least it was flat , enjoyed it a nice day out
Rode past my house on the waterfrontπ before a big ride have half a tin of vegetable soup with as much salt as you can bare or more in it, its only a few mouth fulls if you gulp it down quick and then you wont suffer the cramps π
I attempted to walk down that steep mud hill and slipped and got covered in mud. Its right by Oglet Shore
