It’s fine the red accents, meh, and by accents I mean wheels on a matte black frame doesn’t do it for me but again perfectly fine especially for what looks like a well used bike. Happy & safe travels

if you Iike steel maybe a soma rush, if you can get one where you are
those pure fixes are weirdly shaped and made of hiten iirc.. any CrMo steel frame with a decent geometry will probably feel like a big upgrade. fuji feather, state, etc
for alloy, depends where you’re at. there’s probably some chinese or taiwanese alloy frame you can get- tsunami, ardently, weapon, unknown.. they’re all fine but qc may be suspect so make sure you check it out or get it from a reputable bike shop

Wabi.
Special if your streets are hcol-smooth and your wallet can take the aesthetic upgrade over the Classic, Thunder if you’ve got so many potholes that you have to flow straight through some of them.
Get some hooded levers on those bars and connect one to a front brake.

Go for a surly steamroller or and all-city big-block if you want better steel! Honestly tho, before looking at a new frame, maybe get a slick set of wheels that can follow you to a new build. Definitely pick out hubs and rims and have them built by a professional. Worth every penny.
