Take an on board look a black and blue trail in the La Plagne bike park! See all the features and listen out for useful tips and info about the trails and La Plagne riding!
This is not just a POV ride, this is a guided ride and guide with rider feedback after hitting the features.
The La Plagne riding area is SO much more than the bike park under the Colorado chairlift. Each time I return I find more trails which are often on the piste map itself or trail forks.
It truly is an area rife for exploration with these bike park trails acting as the tip of the iceberg!
I host annual holidays to this area each August, If you’d like to find out more info then have a look at the details here – https://mtbtrailhub.com/french-alps-holiday/

welcome to the plan Bike Park we are here at the top of the Colorado chair lift which is their Bike Park area of La plan and what we’re going to do gonna take you for a run down the black Trail back Trail POV style and give you a sort of commentary throughout this track’s got loads of features it’s got everything step UPS drop-offs single track uh Big Dipper uh you name it this track’s got it yes we’re gonna drop in and give you the guided ride extreme Canyon dropping in the right way into a little double there cheeky little step up we’ve got these man-made wooden turns into two drop-offs don’t need too much feed for those and here we go to a legendary feature the Big Dipper no brakes up until here let’s go nice nice now we come out of some real bike park features into a little bit of steepish or single track conditions at the moment are ruthlessly Dusty I really like this part of the Trap does it feel like a proper Bike Park Trail but right is where stuff gets serious we’ve got a nice drop ahead of us off the brakes oh nice okay sir it comes at you fast so now we move on to the rest for a very short while we’re about to cut off of it and jump over the track here we go here we go nice yeah comes at you so far now we come back into the more single tracky stuff steep shoot stomp Gap these shoots are really steep but there is a nice catch which gives you a bit of confidence speak here a bit rough we don’t mind that though this is the rest of the Trail’s so good we got a couple of seconds get our breath back now see before we drop in again so we do have a couple of big doubles here I’ve never hit them before I’m not going to right now see him there off to the left take this red red table it’s and then cut on to the black big scandiner back into the tree Little Rock information here and look at that drop not much speed needed you what big compression at the bottom Marmot to the left and it’s not over yet so we’ve got this drop here yeah as you can tell there’s so many features on this here on this Trail and it really dropped away here It’s gotta behind your toes riding steep stuff so dusty no we’ve got one last feature there we go the fan staple I’m not a single person in the queue almost every time we go back in for more so as you can see that black drill loads of features on there keeping you on your toes from top to bottom it’s a really good fun track and there’s a good sort of scattering of other Trails Blues red screens and what we are now discovering even more sort of different little clusters of trails scattered around this big area so there’s a lot of tracks on the doorstep of the plan you’ve got to go searching for them but they are actually on a map we’re taking a cruisy look down this blue track this is probably my second favorite Trail here and there’s just so much flow to be had there’s no one on these Trails they’re in great condition and they’re really well made uh the last section is really fun that’s it tightens up at the end and it goes through the trees is mint but what we’re going to do we’re going to truck you on the chess cam give you a POV run down and let you know what’s here so the plan Bike Park is notorious for being quiet for bikers we’ve got the main bike park which has got roughly around let’s say eight to ten tracks I believe it’s 400 feet of descent per run um but there are also other areas to the plan oh here we go depart did not up this is where it gets good nice job there some more flow yeah what are they saying there we go yes to plan bike park is not only not the only Trails you can ride here send from here down to the valley floor down in Mako which is a massive you said and those have got more sort of off PC tracks or there is a red route down also amongst other areas so it’s a big area Rife for exploration the bike park alone we’ve got approximately eight to ten tracks and they are similar to this and flowy nature pretty big table here let’s jump here boy really dusty at the moment height of the summer time of filming these Corners tighten up trap loses its way a little bit here we get it back though down here so down here this blue splits into two sections sure to reach back to town to the right or off to the left which is probably one of my favorite sections office Bike Park a bit of a bumpy Traverse here slight Little Traverse and I’ll take this time to tell you about the marmots in the plant loads of marmots here they call them Gophers over in the states in Canada I think they’ve got loads of nests under the list so it’s pretty cool to see them they’re like a guinea pig slash squirrel hybrid here I’m surfing all the way down the valley there you go David Attenborough eat your heart out right this is where it steps up a knot in terms of being a blue probably more of a red this section A little bit of exposure down here it’s really fun though it really is a Terrain well that it’s got like the fans yes thank you thank you very much and here we come here Lucia puddle always there for some reason down here is where it really gets good ski paste in the winter it’s about protection there down the boardwalk single track s Trail great card for this we definitely don’t want to go over that trout cookies to the woods gets a little bit steeper here got a bit easier on the brakes there in check and this is a section I really like it’s just a little cut off the old section of the blue this isn’t the actual Trail but a little bit of offense feet here and there we go now I’ll merge back into civilization it’s 5 45 and the lift is closed just another day here in the plan thanks for tuning in for signing out from the plan over and out foreign

It's a Great Place..
that blue is my favourite trail..and that last section 👌 I didn't even notice that cheeky little off-piste bit.👌
Bring on 2024!
dream place to ride! when/where do i book up?
One of my favourite places – the redskins trail is the best 👌
The blue one is a pure pleasure!
I visited La Plagne this year. The black too difficult for me but I liked the blue trails.
