Why do number plates get blurred out in these things? It's in public, the number plate is always in the public eye, the car make is visible to the public, the colour is, well, out in public. The actions are in public. The only reason to blur out these is to protect offenders from prosecution. Are you trying to protect offenders?
In this instance the only reason to blur the plate is that the video is not continous between the attempted murder and the man with the bat. However, the man with the bat doesn't have his face blurred so if anything you've left yourself open to a lawsuit by identifying someone who may not have been the driver of the car while hiding the identification information of the car.
