Don’t get too excited. It was just 17.5 miles, which I’m sure is nothing compared to most of you lol. I’m feeling proud though! Got myself a chai from my favorite spot for chai to celebrate. 😎
I’ve gotta say that my hands kinda took a beating from the Bontrager grips the bike shop installed. Its making me wanna get something to replace them. I’ve been toying with the thought of getting some gum colored handles and pedals for a bit. I’ve been thinking of the Hell’s Gate grips and their Vortex Composite pedals. Anyone have any thoughts on those? The ODI Vans grips look nifty too. Idk lol

Nearly any pedal will be a colossal improvement over those. I put cheap Ozark Trail pedals in my bike and they would be a good cheap option. Oury grips are also cheap and pretty good.

Get some bars with backsweep – SO much more comfortable. And make sure your seat height is correct (looks very low), heel on pedal with full leg extension at bottom of the pedal stroke is a good start
