I forgot about those Odyssey stems. My friend had the V1 back in the day. Also shout out the LZ bmx stickers haha.

  2. You can buy odyssey complete wheels on hazzard lite rims.

For cranks, animal akimbo, odyssey thunderbolt or anything 22mm with 48splines is solid these days tbh. I personally ride the fit indent in 165mm arms and 24mm spindle but I think 24mm is a bit of an overkill.

    Hell yeah, an Elementary stem!

My current rims and cranks are still stuck in the mid-2000’s (Sun Big City Lite rims and WTP Royal cranks) but if I were in the market for new ones I’d be going with G-Sport or Odyssey rims and Primo Powerbite or Animal Akimbo cranks.

  4. Odyssey hazards are still the best bang for your buck, in my opinion. I recently picked up 165mm Thunderbolts and I’m liking them so far.

  5. Before you pick up new cranks and rims, at least pick up your cum sock, for the love of god.

  6. You can tell it’s old not just by the style and color way and stickers and everything else but the Adam lz stickers 🤣🫡

Such a sweet stem design! I have the final version that uses that tech, the chase hawk stem.

I like odyssey calibur cranks, and eclat spire cranks. For wheels odyssey 7KA’s

  8. Mmmm Mutiny Wands were sometj8ng else. They were a great looking fork back then.

Theres some good options out there, for cranks I run BSD Substance and Substance XLs on 2 builds and I have a set of Federal Vice V2s to go on a more cruiser bike.

For rims I’ve got Federal Stance XLs on Salt+ Trapez hubs (which have been great) a Cinema 777 rim on a bsd backstreet hub, a Hazard lite on a bsd backstreet hub, a hazard lite on a Primo hub or an odyssey Aero rim on a primo hub. They’ve all been great. I’d find 2 or 3 parts I’m happy with then search around to see where I can get the part cheapest because I’m a peasant.

  9. I have a Haro Nyquist Backtrail x2 with some Alex Supra E’s with poverty hubs they been i the rain/snow for 5 years and still ride like new 😂
