The Burway in the Shropshire Hill is a savage but beautiful climb which any cyclist should ride.
Climbing out of Church Stretton into the Long Mynd. This climb maxes out at just under 20% and goes on 2 miles.

this 20% climb with stunning views is a must ride for any cyclist leaving the small town of church Stratton you see the 20% sign and you know that the burway is going to hurt warm up on 5% but once you see the next 20% sign in the distance the brutal section starts the next 0.4 miles average is 16% maxing out to 18% just past the cattle grid but the views looking down over the carding Mill Valley to your right will help distract you from the pain going through your legs keep pushing hard until you reach the left Bend by the barrier from here is 1.2 Mi to the summit at an average of 8 1/2% but the scenery is stunning in the long me area as is looked after by The National Trust reach the summit by one of the many mini car parks and you are done
