  1. It’s absolutely a Hail Mary, they have a huge balloon payment coming up, a fact that Brian has mentioned many times on his videos. If they don’t have the money to pay the owner (they did seller financing on that land) they will literally lose everything.

this guy is one of the most annoying assholes on the internet and i’m happy he’ll stay off public trails

People think opening a bike park is easily. It’s very hard to be profitable and if you are, you have to be very tight operationally. Quality of trails, number of trails, good features isn’t the driving force.

  4. $700(ish) for a season pass to Whistler Bike Park.

These trails look pretty good, but no where near as good as Whistler…and you have to ride up yourself at this place. There is no chance they survive at that rate.

Kingdom Trails in Vermont is a better comparison since it’s ride up yourself and it’s $125/year…and I’m sure they have way more trails.

Best of luck to them, but doubtful they sell many passes at $1200. Drop it by 90% and maybe they have a chance.

  5. Northstar is like 50 mins away and I think <$500 for the season. It’s going to be hard to compare to Northstar even if you hate Vail at more than double the price.

  6. Yeah at that price there is no way they survive. They obviously needed a big influx of cash but this isn’t going to work. The trails and facilities just do not justify that price at all. I give them a year before the closing everstoke video comes out
