I'm just getting into MTB from eMTB, think I'd like to really start relaxing lol. Is this bike good for entry level xc riding/ road traveling? I really do NOT want to settle for a hard tail and figured less travel plus the lockout feature means I could have easy pavement rides when not on a trail. Also am I overpaying if we agreed at 1250$? If not hit me with cheaper, better ideas! Thanks for your feedback!

probably stolen at the price
Bike appears to be $2600 new. 50% off of new for a used bike is the going rate these days, so $1250 seems fair to me.
Brobably good depending on the market but i looked for the terrible 1 pic listings so i found my full air sus amasing cathc for 650€
Looks brand new, pedals are unmarred, rear tire still has injection hairs on it. it’s a steal at that price.
If you have spent even 10 minutes on an E bike riding that bike is going to feel like absolute garbage and the whole time all you are going to be able to think about is you would rather be back on the E bike.
I’d be a bit wary about this being stolen given it is on Marketplace at that price. Otherwise, it is a great bike. Hardtails are great fun; they are perfect for local XC races, which often aren’t too technical, and they climb well, particularly if you will be using it on the road a lot too.
Yep this is a Good deal.
Ask to see a receipt or at the very least ask which dealer they bought it from and confirm that it’s a specialized shop. Check the seller’s other listings to make sure they’re not slinging stolen shit.
What is with all these people here saying that you shouldn’t go from an e-MTB to a regular MTB? I went from a Turbo Levo to a regular hardtail and I’m very happy that I did. That Levo was way too much bike for the local trails around here, and comparatively, the hardtail I ride with 130mm travel feels much more manuverable and easier to manage in techy XC/trail stuff.
As for that Chisel, it’s a solid deal if an XC bike is what you want. Assuming that the bike you’re coming from is more an enduro as are most e-MTBs and you wanna stick close to that feel, then an enduro/trail bike makes more sense.
Steal? No I think it’s aluminum. :rimshot:
No, you should pay for it.
